CONNOR TEMPLE
Background:
Height: 5'9" Age: 30 First Appearance: Series 1 - Episode 1 Final Appearance: New World - Episode 13 Biography: Initially an innocent and nerdy student, Connor grows to become a key member on the Anomaly Operation, and is the genius behind much of the technology invented by the ARC to combat the Anomaly threat. Accidentally becoming involved in the first incursion, Connor's youth and lack of experience is clear, but his expertise in prehistory and knowledge is vital to the Team, and over time Cutter warms to Connor. Connor has a recurring nature to become involved in dangerous and somewhat comedic situations against creatures during Anomaly incursions. Namely, the fight with the Mosasaurus, the Pteranodon chase, and the Predator attack, from the first group of incursions. He is deeply effected by the creatures directly when his best friend, Tom, dies to a parasite that infected his body after a Dodo bite. Once Cutter returned from the Permian to discover the disappearance of Claudia Brown, Connor arguably becomes the loyalist of team members; despite not fully believing Cutter due to the ramifications of his suggestion, Connor certainly empathises and understands the prospect that Cutter proposes. Post the dramatic timeline change, Connor continues to become involved with the creatures in ways he'd prefer not to, with a Raptor chasing him in a Shopping Mall, and a Precambrian Worm engulfing his head, before the Professor slices the Worm into two. |

Along with the rest of the team, the death of Stephen greatly effects Connor, but he draws closer to Abby as a result, and before soon it is clear that they are affectionate towards each other in ways other than just friends. The deepest scar was left as Connor witnesses Cutter's final moments, sharing them with him, after Helen muders her husband. Losing two main team members has a deep impact on the ARC; despite the pain of loss and death, they must continue the fight against the Anomalies, and keep learning more. Professor Cutter passes the baton to Connor in his final moments, stating that 'It's on you now'. Carrying the burden of what's left behind, Connor knows he must discover the importance of the Artifact, and the risks it may carry. Connor continues to ingeniously devise new technologies to combat the Anomalies; after already inventing the Anomaly Detector, he discovers that an electric current will 'lock' an Anomaly in a closed state, an hence the Anomaly Locking Mechanism was devised.
As Connor and Abby continue to bond, they share their first kiss, and soon after become trapped in the Cretaceous period for a year. Their relationship continued to grow as they had to fight to survive, together. And eventually, they both make it home.
A new ARC, new team, and new investment means a new start for the Anomaly operation. Becker continues to serve as Head of Security, but unfortunately Sarah Page was brutally killed by a Predator on a rescue mission. Connor learns more than ever the power of the Anomalies, hired by entrepreneur Philip Burton, a new investor into the ARC operation. He and Philip both build New Dawn, a machine that began with good intentions, but results in an enormous Anomaly opening, and destroying the Earth into a Sterile form. Luckily, Matt persuades Connor to stop before it's too late, but the more committed Philip decides to go ahead with New Dawn. The ARC Team stop them, and as the Convergence threat ends, Abby proposes to Connor. Of course, he says Yes.
Finally, Connor encounters a team of Canadian Anomaly fighters, lead by Evan Cross. Connor advises Evan on how to deal with the Anomaly threat, but remains ambiguous to his identity.
